Crowdsourced Location networks rely on your phone's location system. The way it works in a simple manner is, well lets suppose you lose your luggage (we hope not though, it's a pain) and you have locked your baggage with the AirBolt. Well, when someone with the AirBolt app walks by, it can detect your AirBolt and send its information up anonymously. The ID of your AirBolt is then matched in our system and the location is updated for you to see. It's a great solution, especially as Airports are high density areas. No sim card needed, no extra on going costs!
If you do lose your bag/AirBolt (which we hope you don't), make sure to "Mark it as Lost" by going to the "Find" Tab for that particular AirBolt. Once it is found, we'll send you an email and you'll be able to see the latest location of it by visiting the 'Find" Tab again!
